The Family Service Counselor is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of at-need and pre-need cemetery arrangements. They serve as the primary contact for families, providing personalized service and maintaining community relationships through prospecting and networking.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and preferably 1-2 years of college or equivalent experience in sales or customer service. A valid driver's license is required, and the ability to obtain an insurance license may be necessary depending on state law.
