The Optical Technician is responsible for maximizing retail sales while supporting patients' medical needs by fitting and dispensing glasses and contacts. They educate patients on lens options and perform precise measurements to ensure accurate prescriptions.
A high school diploma or GED is required, with previous medical or ophthalmic experience strongly preferred. Candidates should have at least one year of customer interaction experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

This team member is trained to dispense and fit glasses and contacts, working from the prescriptions written by Optometrists and Ophthalmologists. They connect the patient's needs to the goods and services we offer.
