Lead the production and review of complex partnership tax returns and provide high-value tax consulting services to clients. Manage client engagements, mentor staff, and drive business development activities to expand the firm's client base.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, a CPA certification, and at least ten years of progressive tax experience in public accounting. Must possess deep technical expertise in Sub-chapter K partnership taxation and strong leadership capabilities.
As the Partnership Tax Director, you’ll lead the team’s production of primary and secondary reviews of complex tax returns and provide tax consulting services for your partnership clients – all with the resources, environment, and support to help you excel. You’ll collaborate with the Partnership Tax team and make recommendations on return preparation and tax savings opportunities, focusing on accuracy, quality and client service because together is how we succeed.

The base salary range for this position is between $197,800 and $247,250. Placement within the pay range is at Grant Thornton’s discretion, and it is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job -related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, progression within the role, geographic location, and internal equity. At Grant Thornton, compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
