The Organizer will support outreach programs, civic engagement, and advocacy efforts across New York, including managing projects for election protection and digital communications. They will also collaborate with staff to engage supporters, maintain community partnerships, and assist with fundraising and advisory board management.
Candidates must have a strong commitment to nonpartisan pro-democracy work, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in office productivity tools and a willingness to travel and maintain a social media presence are required.
We are looking for a creative and collaborative Organizer to join the Common Cause team in New York. This is a key role supporting our organizing and outreach programs and promoting civic engagement across the state.
This is a full-time role reporting to the Organizing Manager, New York; this role is based in New York, with a focus on Long Island and the Hudson Valley; there will be an expectation to come into our office and travel around the state at least three days per week. We hope our new Organizer will start in October.
