The Senior Offshore Landman manages deepwater land and commercial activities, including negotiating complex oil and gas agreements and administering contracts. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to support exploration, development, and acquisition strategies while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of offshore land and commercial experience, preferably in deepwater Gulf of America and international projects. A bachelor's degree is required, with a JD or Petroleum Land Management degree considered a plus.
The Senior Offshore Landman is responsible for all assigned deepwater land and commercial activities within the framework of Talos Energy’s policies and procedures and in compliance with applicable regulations.
The Senior Offshore Landman duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Employee must be able to sit for extended periods of time and have use of arms and hands in repetitive motion. A fair amount of standing and walking is also required for the position.
