The Environmental Project Manager oversees environmental consulting projects from initiation to completion, managing budgets, schedules, and technical deliverables. They are responsible for coordinating field and office resources, mentoring junior staff, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of related experience and a degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Science, or Geology. A Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) license is preferred, along with strong knowledge of environmental regulations and sampling methods.
The Environmental Project Manager manages environmental consulting projects of low to moderate complexity through all phases of execution, including planning, staffing, technical delivery, client communication, and financial management. This role is responsible for coordinating project resources, developing staff, supporting business development efforts, and ensuring projects meet quality, schedule, budget, and safety expectations. The Environmental Project Manager demonstrates growing leadership, technical competency, and client management skills while demonstrating ECS Core Values.
