Senior Import and Export Analyst, T&W

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient execution of import and export operations. This execution must guarantee compliance with customs legislation, corporate policies, and Trade Compliance requirements. Additionally, you will promote risk reduction, cost optimization, and continuous improvement of import and export processes.

This is a Senior role. The work location is Jaguaré, SP.

Main Responsibilities:

Import and Export – Trade Compliance

• Support operations in ensuring compliance of end-to-end import and export processes following current customs legislation
• Coordinate performance meetings with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and local carriers, ensuring compliance with SLA-agreed deadlines
• Act in resolving operational issues.
• Be a focal point for the T&W division on AEO (Authorized Economic Operator), customs compliance, and related topics
• Support topics related to DUIMP and product catalog management
• Be a necessary user for tests affecting the foreign trade area
• Responsible for the control and maintenance of Certificates/Declarations of Origin
• Assess rules of origin for the correct application of tax benefits
• Validate customs documentation through internal audits
• Support compliance risk analyses
• Implement and update controls and policies to meet compliance requirements
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements
• Support annual budget control activities
• Represent the department at external events promoted by associations and other organizations

Experience:

+5 years of experience in Import, Export, and Trade Compliance is preferred

• 1+ years experience in Import and Export routines, including processes requiring approvals from Anvisa, MAPA, Federal Police (DPF), controlled products, and organic products. Experience with customs regimes and with DUIMP and product catalogs
• Bachelor's degree in International Trade, International Relations, Business Administration, or related fields
• Advanced English
• Advanced Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
• Experience with SAP
• Knowledge of Drawback regimes
• Knowledge of AEO certification
• Knowledge of international agreements
• Lean / Continuous Improvement knowledge
• Knowledge of processes involving Anvisa, MAPA, and DPF
