Lloyds Wealth aims to improve the way financial advice is offered by making it more affordable, accessible and impactful for more people
A brilliant opportunity to shape how Lloyds Wealth plans, develops and deploys its workforce, using data-driven insight to ensure we have the right people, skills and capacity to deliver outstanding client outcomes.
At Lloyds Wealth, you’ll join a growing business with an ambitious vision for the future. This is a newly important role for an experienced workforce planning professional who can combine strategic thinking, advanced analytics and strong stakeholder management to help us meet both our immediate and longer-term resourcing needs.
Location | National Type | Permanent Salary | £56,060 to £61,666
As Workforce Planning Manager, you’ll lead the development of workforce plans across Lloyds Wealth, ensuring we have the right number of advisers and client services colleagues, with the right skills, to meet changing client and business needs.
You’ll analyse workforce trends, forecast future staffing requirements and turn complex data into clear, actionable insight. Your work will support decisions around capacity, productivity, recruitment, role design and resource allocation, helping the business maintain high standards of client service while operating efficiently.
Working closely with the Client Office Leadership Team, the People function, Finance and other key stakeholders, you’ll align workforce strategy with the wider direction of the business. You’ll help identify gaps between current capability and future demand, then develop practical plans to address them.
You’ll also lead the ongoing development of workforce planning tools, reporting and performance measures. This will include working with internal teams and external providers to ensure our systems and forecasting approaches remain effective, relevant and fit for the future. This is a highly collaborative role requiring the confidence to challenge constructively, influence senior stakeholders and coordinate activity across different teams.
Why join us?
Shape our future workforce. Play a central role in ensuring Lloyds Wealth has the people, skills and capacity needed to support its future ambitions.
Make an organisation-wide impact. Provide insight that directly informs strategic decisions around resourcing, productivity and client service.
Turn data into action. Use workforce analytics and forecasting to identify challenges, highlight opportunities and develop practical solutions.
Work with senior stakeholders. Partner with leaders across the Client Office, People, Finance and other areas of Lloyds Wealth.
Drive continuous improvement. Help develop workforce planning tools, reporting and processes that improve decision-making and operational effectiveness.
Put clients first. Support a culture focused on delivering excellent service, positive experiences and good client outcomes.
What you’ll bring
Proven experience in workforce planning, capacity planning, resource management or a closely related role.
Experience developing workforce plans, performance measures and management information.
Strong analytical capability, with experience interpreting workforce data, identifying trends and forecasting future resource requirements.
The ability to translate complex information into clear recommendations, reports and presentations for different audiences.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to guide, influence and constructively challenge senior colleagues.
Strong project management and organisational change experience.
A practical, solutions-focused approach to identifying and resolving workforce challenges.
An understanding of budgeting and financial planning in relation to staffing and resource allocation.
Experience in wealth management, financial advice or client services would be highly desirable.
We understand not everyone will meet 100% of the requirements, however we encourage you to apply if you think your skills are a good fit for this role.
This job vacancy may close earlier than the advertised date if a suitable candidate is found. We encourage interested applicants to submit their applications as soon as possible.
