The Occupational Therapist will deliver evidence-informed, patient-centered care to promote functional independence in activities of daily living. They will also collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage discharge planning and provide equipment recommendations for home and work environments.
Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. Experience in a hospital setting, specifically with spinal cord injury and seating/positioning, is preferred.

The Occupational Therapist (OT) is an integral member of the Occupational Therapy service, Allied Health and clinical programs in which care is provided. Through assessment, treatment, evaluation and consultation, the OT prevents, alleviates or minimizes dysfunction, enabling clients to achieve their maximum level of functional independence and facilitating their integration into the home, community and workplace.
