Candidates must have a high school diploma or Associate's degree, with a Bachelor's degree preferred for higher pay. A valid NYS driver's license and reliable transportation are required, along with experience in customer service or working with individuals with disabilities.

Employment Specialist II's are out in the community, working with a caseload of individuals with a wide range of disabilities. They assist the people we support in reaching their goals and helping them find work and succeed in the workplace. Some responsibilities may include helping people write resumes, interview for jobs, assisting with on-the-job training, helping people through job transitions, or transporting individuals to job sites.
