About the role
As a Mobile Nursery Housekeeper, you’ll play an important role in maintaining a clean and safe nursery environment across multiple sites. Your work supports children’s wellbeing while helping educators focus on delivering exceptional care.
You will:
Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment across different nursery locations
Travel between sites during the week
Complete daily, weekly and deep cleaning tasks
Respond to urgent or additional cleaning needs as required
Help cover other team members during holidays or busy periods
Work collaboratively with the wider team
Contribute towards a warm and respectful atmosphere for children and teams
Always show strong attention to detail while respecting confidentiality and safeguarding
Identify areas that need attention and take initiative to keep the nursery environment looking its best
Follow cleaning schedules and hygiene procedures to support health and safety standards
Help create calm, organised spaces that support children’s daily experiences
Your role is essential in ensuring every space reflects the high standards expected at Fennies and supports the children and teams to grow and thrive.

You will:
Have previous cleaning experience
Be able to work independently and manage your time effectively
Have strong attention to detail
Be dependable, punctual, and professional
Be flexible and comfortable working across different locations
Have good communication skills
Desirable (but not essential):
Experience working in schools, nurseries, healthcare, or similar environments
Knowledge of safe use of cleaning products (COSHH)
A full UK driving licence
