What you'll be doing
You’ll be joining CIBC’s HR Technology Team. As the Application Development and Support ETL: Informatica, Databricks , you’ll be at the heart of CIBC’s HR support, successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale projects involving multiple back-end systems, and integration with SaaS vendor applications. You’ll assemble, implement and maintain flexible, and personalized solutions that enhance the HR business and user base. You’ll be the Tech lead responsible for the planning and strategy for the technical design, development and integration of these applications. The majority of your focus will be supporting a 3rd Party SaaS solutions that provides HR functionality, having a SQL development background is important for the role. Additionally there is supporting a Databricks ETL which requires afterhours support from time to time as required. The role also requires on call support, over time and weekend hours may be required.

Leadership skills - Act as the Platform support escalation point for issues with data ingestion, consumption, pipelines running on the EDGE platform. Proactively monitor data pipeline health to ensure stability and uptime. Support and collaborate with team members by sharing knowledge and problem solving ability.
