At BGIS, we believe facility services are about more than buildings—they're about people. Every service request, every interaction, and every solution contributes to creating safe, productive, and exceptional environments where businesses can thrive.
We're looking for a Bilingual Facilities Services Coordinator (English/French) who brings a passion for customer service, strong communication skills, and a solutions-focused mindset. As the first point of contact for facility-related requests, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our clients receive timely, professional, and seamless support.
If you're energized by helping people, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Bilingual Facilities Services Coordinator, you will be part of BGIS' Operations Centre—the heartbeat of our service delivery organization. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your career within a global organization while gaining exposure to facility management, service operations, and client support.
What You'll Do
You will manage incoming service requests received through phone, email, and online systems, ensuring each request is handled accurately, professionally, and with a sense of urgency.
Your responsibilities will include:
Serving as the first point of contact for facility-related service requests
Responding to client inquiries in both English and Spanish
Creating, updating, and dispatching work orders to internal and external service providers
Assessing service requests and determining appropriate priority levels
Coordinating with technicians, vendors, landlords, and stakeholders to support timely resolution
Applying client-specific service procedures and escalation protocols
Maintaining accurate records within work order management systems
Supporting operational improvement initiatives and team projects
Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all client interactions
What Makes You Successful
You understand that outstanding customer service is built on effective communication, responsiveness, and attention to detail. You enjoy helping people, remain calm under pressure, and can balance multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
You are a natural problem solver who asks the right questions, gathers information efficiently, and works collaboratively to find solutions. Whether you're speaking with clients, technicians, facility managers, or vendors, you communicate professionally and confidently.
You are adaptable, eager to learn new systems and processes, and take pride in delivering accurate, timely support.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
High school completion plus a specialized business, technical, or related course
Up to 1 year of relevant customer service, service coordination, dispatch, call centre, or administrative experience
Fluency in both English and French, with strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent customer service orientation
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong computer and keyboarding skills
A willingness to learn new systems, processes, and technologies
Nice to Have
Experience in facilities management, property management, building operations, or maintenance services
Work Schedule
The BGIS Operations Centre supports clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
This position requires:
Flexibility to work rotating shifts between 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. EST
Availability for weekends and statutory holidays on a rotational basis
Occasional overtime, depending on operational needs
Ready to Make an Impact?
