Ensure compliance with supplier and owner specifications by sampling and testing construction materials, including soil, aggregate, hot mix asphalt (HMA), and Portland cement concrete (PCC), to maintain quality standards
Prepare and communicate testing and inspection results to supervisors and plant personnel to ensure quality control standards are satisfied and necessary process changes are implemented
Follow the requirements for materials quality outlined in the company management system (GMS) and the Construction Materials Playbook to ensure compliance and maintain high standards
Train Level I technicians on sampling and testing of construction materials to prepare them for additional certification and enhance their skills
Participate in and promote company safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with safety regulations
High school diploma preferred
Regional or State Agency certification for material being sampled, tested, inspected required
NICET I certification desired
1+ years of related experience required
Knowledge of and compliance with OSHA and MSHA rules and regulations
Basic computer skills, basic proficiency Microsoft Excel
Good oral and written communication skills

Base Salary Range:
$50,832.00 - $76,247.00Pay may vary based upon relevant experience, skills, location, and education among other factors.
