The Procurement Manager is responsible for sourcing, ordering, and managing the inventory of supplies and equipment for affordable housing properties. This includes coordinating with vendors, managing company accounts, and ensuring maintenance teams have necessary parts to maintain property standards.
Requires a high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred) and at least 2 years of experience in inventory or property management. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
Position Summary
The Procurement Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that the maintenance and porters have the supplies and equipment needed to properly maintain VPH Management Services' affordable housing properties. This position is responsible for ensuring that the operations team has the needed supplies, equipment and parts to ensure the properties managed by VPH Management Services are kept up to applicable standards. The position will maintain the inventory control processes and ensure accurate stock levels for the properties.
The Procurement Manager will conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, and state and federal laws (OSHA, ADA and Fair Housing). Essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
