As one of the world’s most admired brands, Toyota is growing and leading the future of mobility through innovative, high-quality solutions designed to enhance lives and delight those we serve. We’re looking for talented team members who want to Dream. Do. Grow. with us.
Toyota does not offer support or sponsorship of job applicants for employment-based visas or any other work authorization for this role now or in the future. You must have the right to work in the United States and not require Toyota support or sponsorship for immigration-related employment (e.g., H-1B, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, F-1 CPT, ‘job flexibility benefits’ [also known as I-140 or Adjustment of Status portability], etc.) now or in the future. You should not apply for this role if you will require Toyota to assist with immigration support or sponsorship now or in the future.
Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s People & Property Services Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Media Operations Manager.
The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the strategic planning and daily operations for internal video production (pre through post-production) as well as webcast meetings across the portfolio.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Corporate Shared Services, the person in this role will support the People & Property Services department's objective to provide high quality, innovative, cost-effective services that meet Toyota’s values and principles.
What you’ll be doing
Lead and develop six internal technical team members to deliver successful media projects by leveraging team strengths, thoughtfully assigning work (500 annual projects), and managing workloads effectively.
Manage outsourced supplier performance through contract and KPI management, ongoing relationship building, and clear, consistent communication.
Maintain regular and effective communication with customers and other key stakeholders to ensure expectations are aligned and issues are addressed proactively.
Ensure the right equipment, software, and training are in place through forward-looking planning, industry benchmarking, and effective budget management totaling $7M.
Identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement to maintain operational excellence and build executive support through compelling business cases as needed.
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
Self-driven, proactive and experienced people-leader who works independently, takes ownership, and supports company initiatives with minimal guidance.
Strong ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to inform strategy and drive process improvements.
A continuous learning mindset and enthusiasm for taking on new challenges.
Excellent planning, organization, time management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external vendors.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop and present strategies to senior leadership.
Demonstrated experience in video production.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe Creative Suite.
Added bonus if you have
Experience with project management software, such as Monday.com.
Experience in developing and managing the deliverables of an annual strategy for senior leadership that includes industry insight, vendor data, as well as the upcoming priorities.
Experience with vendor requests for information and proposals, service provider evaluation, and contract review.
Strong budgeting, accrual, and forecasting skills.
Experience with SAP/Ariba.
Familiarity with Toyota Way guiding principles and Toyota-specific training.
What we’ll bring
During your interview process, our team can fill you in on all the details of our industry-leading benefits and career development opportunities. A few highlights include:
A work environment built on teamwork, flexibility, and respect
Professional growth and development programs to help advance your career, as well as tuition reimbursement
Team Member Vehicle Purchase Discount
Toyota Team Member Lease Vehicle Program (if applicable)
Comprehensive health care and wellness plans for your entire family
Toyota 401(k) Savings Plan featuring a company match, as well as an annual retirement contribution from Toyota regardless of whether you contribute (if applicable)
Paid holidays and paid time off
Referral services related to prenatal services, adoption, childcare, schools and more
Tax Advantaged Accounts (Health Savings Account, Health Care FSA, Dependent Care FSA)
