The Financial Manager manages divisional budgets, financial planning, and analysis for the Division of Strategic Enrollment Management and Student Success. Key duties include leading financial staff, ensuring fiscal compliance, and preparing monthly financial statements.
Requires an Associate's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with at least three years of progressively responsible financial experience. Proficiency in financial software and experience in higher education settings are preferred.
Reporting to the Divisional Finance Officer, the Financial Manager supports the Division of Strategic Enrollment Management and Student Success (SEMSS) by managing divisional budgets, assisting with financial planning and analysis, and providing leadership in financial reporting and compliance.
The Division of Strategic Enrollment Management & Student Success (SEMSS) takes a holistic approach to support students throughout all stages of the enrollment lifecycle, from prospective students, transfer students, and continuing students to our graduates and alumni. The SEMSS team is a reliable and active partner on campus, in Milwaukee, and across Wisconsin.
$75,000 - $90,000 (Final salary offer will be determined based on qualifications and experience)
Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods, attend meetings across campus, and occasionally lift and carry financial documents or equipment.
Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; or commensurate experience.
