The Surgery Scheduler coordinates surgical procedures with hospitals and surgery centers while managing pre-operative testing and documentation. They provide non-licensed medical and scheduling support to physicians and patients to ensure accurate and timely paperwork.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least one year of surgery scheduling or related experience. Proficiency in medical software, MS Office, and strong communication skills are required.

Responsibilities include coordinating surgical procedures with multiple hospitals and surgery centers, scheduling and obtaining pre-operative testing, writing and communicating surgery orders, and collecting necessary documentation for surgeries. This individual works closely with patients, physicians, and surgery location to providing accurate, timely, and responsive paperwork. Provides non-licensed medical and scheduling support to medical providers in the care and treatment of patients.
