Requires an associate degree or equivalent experience in medical office practices and one year of medical reception experience. Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of insurance preauthorization and HIPAA compliance are preferred.
POSITION SUMMARY
Carries out daily operations of the University Health Partners of Hawai'i Speech and Hearing Clinic (UHPSHC) including reception, intake, insurance authorization, scheduling, release of medical information, and assisting clinicians with clerical/administrative activities in consultation with Department Chair, Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) and Audiology (AUD) Clinical Operations and Clinical Services Coordinators (Coordinators), CSD Clinical Education Support Specialist, and Administrative-Fiscal Specialist.
