The Domestic Violence Advocate provides crisis intervention, safety planning, and emotional support to survivors via a 24-hour hotline and within an emergency residential facility. They also manage resident intakes, facilitate support groups, and coordinate with outside agencies to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in social work or a related field and have at least three years of experience in human services. Strong crisis intervention, case management, and communication skills are required, along with a commitment to trauma-informed care and the organization's mission.

SafeHouse Denver assists adults, children, and youth in reclaiming their right to a life free from domestic violence. We support survivors of domestic violence and their children through both an Emergency Shelter and a non-residential Counseling & Advocacy Center. All of the adults, children, and youth who come to SafeHouse Denver have access to a full continuum of trauma-informed care, including individual counseling, group sessions, advocacy and safety planning. Services are available in English and Spanish.
