The Assistant General Manager of Inventory oversees all warehouse execution, including receiving, processing, picking, and inventory accuracy. They are responsible for building labor deployment plans, managing warehouse supervisors, and ensuring operational safety and efficiency.

At BuyWander, the Assistant General Manager of Inventory is the operational owner of store execution and inventory flow. This is not a junior General Manager role. It is a distinct leadership position with clear ownership of every unit that enters the building until it is accurately processed, stored, picked, staged, and ready for the customer.

The AGM of Inventory partners closely with the General Manager to ensure warehouse execution supports business performance. Where the General Manager owns the business, the AGM owns the flow. The AGM translates business expectations into daily warehouse execution and ensures problems are identified, owned, and resolved before they become building-level emergencies.

The AGM of Inventory leads by example, creating an environment where accountability, execution, and high performance are the standard. This leader knows the operation at all times, surfaces problems early, and builds recovery plans before issues escalate. Success is measured by throughput, accuracy, labor efficiency, team development, and the ability to deliver consistent results without requiring GM intervention.
