Structure
The Development Program Manager, Central Programs is a non-exempt (hourly) position employed by the University of Cincinnati Foundation (UCF) and reports to the Senior Director of Operations, Central Programs.
Focus
The Development Program Manager, Central Programs provides operational and administrative support to the Corporate and Foundation Relations cohort at the University of Cincinnati Foundation. The Development Program Manager will be responsible for project management for the Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) cohort and will work with the CFR cohort, as well as faculty and staff at UC and UC Health, to support the preparation of proposals for submission to funders. In addition, the Development Program Manager, CFR will complete a wide variety of administrative tasks, as needed.
Specific Duties
Provide administrative support, including calendar management, travel planning, submitting support tickets and expense reports for CFR teams.
Meet with teams and team leads to review, track, and share information and prioritize programmatic, project, and operational needs and deliverables.
Support coordination of scheduling, meetings, travel, and expense reports.
Responsible for tracking deadlines and deliverables for grants and submissions.
Support the preparation of funding proposals, letters of intent, cover letters, and cases for support.
Assist in researching and identification of potential grant funding sources and corporate partnerships to support the priorities and needs of UC and UC Health. Review foundation websites, Candid, Grantforward, LiveAlumni, Office of Research database and other information sources, as requested by CFR fundraisers.
Conduct a monthly nongovernment research review of foundations and charities whose funds go through UC’s Office of Research. Draft biweekly Request for Proposals (RFP) newsletter. Research and screen RFPs; draft summaries for UC leadership, faculty and UCF fundraisers. Keep address lists current.
Track and assist in the preparation of post-award reports. Support Foundation Relations team in tracking foundation reports coming due; communicate reporting requirements with UC program contacts (including Foundation Relations and unit fundraisers); draft reports based on faculty information and donor guidelines; collect required attachments.
Maintain current versions of critical documents required for grant submissions, namely all organizational attachments, such as lists of board members, most recent audits, tax documents, etc.
Support the stewardship and donor engagement activities meant to engage corporate and foundation donors.
Correspond with UC and UC Health faculty and staff regarding information required for applications and submissions.
Maintain a central file structure for the Central Programs team, coordinating with other Central Programs’ administrative support team members to ensure paper and electronic files and important documents are organized and maintained in a consistent manner.
In coordination with Central Programs’ administrative support team members, create, maintain and distribute Central Programs’ newsletter and HUB content.
Add and request updates to customer relationship management system as needed.
Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred and 1-3 years of administrative support experience or the equivalent combination of education and related experience.
Proven ability to handle, update, and maintain sensitive information in a confidential, timely, and professional manner.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail; excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to interact in a courteous, positive, professional, and timely manner with diverse internal and external constituents and foster strong, productive relationships.
Proficiency in Adobe, Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Office, Excel, PowerPoint) and information systems databases.
Ability to prioritize effectively to meet multiple competing deadlines.

The anticipated starting hourly rate range for the Development Program Manager, Central Programs role is $24.00 to $27.50 . When determining final offer amount the UC Foundation considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
