The intern will support the Facility and Game Operations unit with daily event setups, facility maintenance, and project management. They will also provide on-site support for home athletic events, including nights and weekends.
Candidates must be current UVA undergraduate students eligible for federal work study. The role requires the physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and the flexibility to work irregular hours.

The Department of Athletics at the University of Virginia is now accepting applications for the position of Athletic Operations Intern to support the Facility and Game Operations unit.
The Athletic Operations Intern would support the unit with daily event operations, project management and facility preparations.
The ideal candidate will be organized, have good communication skills, and always striving to learn and improve. The day-to-day schedule will be set as dictated by the needs of the Athletics Department. This position will allow for flexibile hours and the opportunity to work night and weekends supporting home events. The Athletics Operations Intern will abide and adhere to all NCAA, ACC, and University rules and regulations.
Pay rate: $13/hr
Date of employment: September 1, 2026 until May 7, 2027
