Provide transportation services to the community’s residents, staff, and guests by safely operating the property-owned shuttle or bus within the designated route and to specific identified destinations, and by complying with all Department of Transportation traffic and motor vehicle safety regulations.

Ensures the bus and/or shuttleisin good workingcondition by scheduling routine vehicle maintenance with approved mechanics and vehicleservicecenters,performingvisualinspections of tires, windows, doors,seatbelts, and the overallconditionof the bus and/shuttle, and by acting quickly to correct any potential malfunction or safety feature of the vehicle.
Maintains the cleanlinessof the bus/shuttlebypicking up trash and debris, wiping down the seats and windows eachday,sweeping out the aisles, and washing the exterior of the vehicle.
Provides for the securityof the bus and/or shuttlebyparkingin the designated areas, keeping the vehiclelocked when not in use, preventing access to the vehicle by unauthorizedindividuals, and keepingkeysinthe approved, securelocation.
Followsallstate and local regulations related to motor vehicle operation bystayinginformed about highway and DOT laws, and exercising good judgment and safetyawareness when operating the vehicle.
Reports allmechanical and operational defects and issues to theCommunity Manager and follows approved procedures for spending budgeted dollars to maintain the operation of the vehicle.
Demonstrates excellent customerservice to ridersbyansweringquestions,explaining routes and stops, and providing assistanceas needed toriders who are disabled or need additionalassistance to get on or disembark from the vehicle.
Completesvarious financial, accounting, administrative, and other reports and analysis, and performs other dutiesasassigned or asnecessary.
The hourly range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00.
Additional Compensation:
Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.
Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
