Job Summary:
As a Senior Regional Treasury Sales Manager on the Central 1 team, you will serve as a trusted advisor, providing relationship-driven support to credit union members and select financial institutions. You will proactively engage clients, originate treasury and capital markets opportunities, and help strengthen their balance sheets, liquidity, and long-term financial resilience.
We are only considering candidates who are currently based in British Columbia.
What you'll be doing:
Deliver proactive, relationship-driven treasury and capital markets coverage to credit union and financial institution clients
Build trusted advisor relationships with senior treasury and finance leaders
Identify and execute growth opportunities across funding, liquidity, investment, and balance sheet solutions
Lead client strategy and treasury sales activities as an individual contributor
Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver seamless client solutions and insights
Own the end-to-end client experience and represent the organization externally
Client Relationship Management
Act as the primary relationship lead for assigned clients, ensuring consistent, high-quality engagement
Develop a deep understanding of each client’s financial position, strategy, and risk profile
Coordinate internal partners to deliver a unified client experience
Proactively manage issues and continuously improve client satisfaction
Sales & Business Development
Originate and advance treasury opportunities with existing and prospective clients
Lead sales efforts from opportunity identification through deal execution
Drive portfolio growth across treasury and capital markets offerings
Ensure proposed solutions are practical and aligned with service standards
Client Engagement & Advisory
Create structured client coverage plans and maintain opportunity pipelines
Lead meetings, presentations, and educational sessions
Provide market insights and tailored treasury advice
Translate industry and regulatory trends into actionable client strategies
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with servicing, operations, and analytics teams to deliver solutions
Coordinate with risk, legal, and finance stakeholders to ensure compliance
Support RFIs, RFPs, and proposal development
What you'll have:
7+ years in treasury, capital markets, financial institution sales, or client relationship management with a focus on business development
Experience working with credit unions or financial institutions, including knowledge of balance sheets, liquidity, and funding strategies
Proven ability to build trusted client relationships and drive growth opportunities
Strong understanding of treasury and capital markets products (funding, liquidity, investments, securitization, and risk management)
Experience working as a senior individual contributor within cross-functional teams
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; CFA, MBA, or similar designation is an asset
Salary range: $125,000-$155,000 plus a variable pay incentive of 14%-21%
The salary represents the job rate determined for the successful candidate who is fully competent in the role. The actual salary will vary depending on market conditions and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
