Retail, Consumer & Auto (RCA) provides specialised contract warehouse and distribution services to a range of industries across the globe including Consumer & Beverages, Specialty Retail, Auto and FMCG. We offer our customers an array of robust and flexible logistics and warehouse distribution solutions in the third-party logistics (3PL) market.
The Opportunity
As the Operations Manager in our Retail & Consumer business unit, you will play a pivotal role in leading the operational transition to a new, state-of-the-art warehouse facility. This role will manage the warehouse operations of the largest Toll facility in Australia – a 68,000sqm powerhouse of automation, sustainability, and opportunity.
Manage day-to-day and long-term operational planning to meet KPIs and budget targets.
Lead and mentor a new team, fostering a culture of safety, engagement, and performance.
Drive process improvements and implement automation initiatives to enhance productivity.
Build strong client relationships and deliver outstanding service.
Ensure compliance with WH&S, DG, and environmental standards.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support growth and operational excellence.
Experience or exposure in a 3PL environment – understanding third-party logistics and client service delivery.
Experience or exposure to warehouse automation – ability to leverage technology for efficiency and accuracy.
Strong background in logistics/supply chain management and warehouse operations.
Knowledge of WMS and pick technologies.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Certificate/Diploma in Warehousing & Distribution or Transport & Logistics (preferred).
