The Dental Assistant provides chairside support to dental providers by preparing operatories, maintaining instruments, and assisting with various clinical procedures. They also manage patient intake, perform routine equipment maintenance, and ensure accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
Candidates must hold a current Washington State Dental Assistant license and BLS certification. A high school diploma and at least 280 hours of chairside dental assisting experience are required.
The Dental Assistant Float provides chairside support to the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist for scheduled procedures throughout the Neighborcare Health Clinics. They are responsible for the preparation and maintenance of dental instruments and equipment needed for procedures in support of patient treatment. The Dental Assistant – Float is required to work at all NCH dental clinics, as needed.
