Manager, Master Data Management(MDM)
Lead the Future of Enterprise Data Strategy
Pulse Vehicles is seeking an experienced and strategic Manager, Master Data Management (MDM) to establish and lead our enterprise-wide data governance framework. This role will be responsible for driving data quality, consistency, and standardization across the organization while supporting key business transformation and systems integration initiatives.
Pulse Vehicles brings together Demers Ambulances, Braun Ambulances, Crestline Coach, and Medix Specialty Vehicles—four respected manufacturers with a shared commitment to innovation, quality, and serving emergency responders across North America. As part of our growing organization, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to strategic initiatives that support multiple operating companies and help shape the future of the emergency vehicle industry.
Reporting to the Principal Director, IT, this enterprise-wide leadership role partners closely with business and technology teams to define data standards, improve data quality, and support the integration of systems and processes across multiple operating companies.
This is an exciting opportunity for a leader who is passionate about data governance, enterprise systems, and organizational transformation, and who can help build the foundation for data-driven decision-making across Pulse Vehicles.
What You'll Do
Develop and implement an enterprise-wide Master Data Management strategy aligned with organizational objectives and system standardization efforts.
Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, including policies, standards, ownership models, and stewardship processes.
Define and manage data domains such as customer, vendor, product, and asset master data.
Lead initiatives to harmonize data across multiple systems and support enterprise platform integration projects.
Develop key performance indicators and controls to measure and improve data quality, accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Implement data cleansing, validation, monitoring, and governance workflows to support ongoing data management excellence.
Facilitate collaboration between business units and IT teams to establish common data definitions and governance practices.
Evaluate and implement MDM tools, platforms, and supporting technologies while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and cybersecurity requirements.
Drive organizational adoption of data governance practices through training, stakeholder engagement, and change management initiatives.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
7–10+ years of experience in data management, data governance, Master Data Management (MDM), or a related discipline.
Experience supporting ERP implementations, systems integration, or large-scale business transformation initiatives.
Experience working in multi-entity and/or multi-site environments, preferably within manufacturing or industrial organizations.
Technical Expertise
Strong knowledge of Master Data Management frameworks, tools, and best practices.
Experience with MDM platforms such as Informatica MDM, Reltio, Boomi, or similar solutions.
Knowledge of data governance frameworks and methodologies, including DAMA-DMBOK or comparable standards.
Experience working with ERP systems; JD Edwards experience is considered a strong asset.
Understanding of data architectures, data models, APIs, and systems integration patterns.
Leadership & Communication
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build alignment across business functions and locations.
Experience leading organizational change and driving adoption of new processes and standards.
Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels.
Why Join Pulse Vehicles?
This role offers a unique opportunity to build and shape the enterprise data strategy for a growing organization. You'll work across multiple operating companies, partner with senior leaders, and play a critical role in improving data quality, enabling systems integration, and supporting future business growth.
As the leader responsible for Master Data Management across Pulse Vehicles, you'll have the opportunity to establish foundational processes, influence strategic decisions, and create lasting impact across Demers, Braun, Crestline, and Medix.
If you are passionate about data governance, systems integration, and building enterprise capabilities that enable business success, we'd like to hear from you.
