Job Description:
The Lab Assistant reports to the Chair, Wellness Research & Innovation. Under the supervision of the faculty, the incumbent supports student learning in a lab/simulated classroom in the Medical Device Reprocessing program.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum one ( 1) year certificate or equivalent in Medical Device Reprocessing;
Minimum three (3) years general experience with at least one (1) year experience as a Medical Device Reprocessing Technician;
Clear understanding of student conduct expectations;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Conflict resolution skills;
Experience with computer software - Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook.
This is a eight (8) month position with an annual lay off period of up to four (4) months. The position completes a 8-hour work week.
