About the Role:
The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. This role involves managing a team of housekeeping staff, coordinating schedules, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility. The Housekeeping Manager will develop and implement effective cleaning procedures, monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Additionally, this position requires collaboration with other departments to support overall guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Ultimately, the Housekeeping Manager plays a critical role in enhancing the guest experience by maintaining impeccable standards and fostering a motivated, well-trained housekeeping team.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in housekeeping or hospitality management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team effectively.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
