The Project Accountant is responsible for processing subcontractor billings, material invoices, and managing certified payroll reports. They support corporate craft payroll and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.
Requires a high school diploma and at least three years of accounting or office management experience in construction, engineering, or architecture. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and experience with ERP platforms like JDE or Elation Systems is preferred.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable project accountant to assist with the onsite accounting needs. This role will be working closely with project leadership and various internal/external departments. The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem-solver and a strong team-focused attitude. This position will be located in office, located in Lake Oswego, OR.
Qualifications:
Professional Experience and Education
High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or General Business Management is preferred.
At least three (3) years of accounting and/or office management experience in the construction, engineering, or architectural field required.
Experience with cost accounting, AP/AR functions, contract administration, invoice processing/auditing, and its relationship within the construction industry.
Experience in similar accounting role within the construction industry preferred.
