Media Services at HPU Libraries provides patrons with assistance in completing media projects, media production equipment, and access to titles from our film and video game collections. As a student employee, you will gain experience working in an academic library, while enhancing your knowledge of library resources and procedures.
Student employees are responsible for supporting patrons with needs related to media projects and using specialized software. They will also circulate media equipment, return materials to their designated locations in the library once materials are returned, and complete other duties as assigned.
The candidate will perform most/all job duties in Smith Library. Hours may vary depending on the job requirements; however, the total number of hours a student employee may work per week is 20 hours. This position requires up to (15) hours per week.
Responsibilities:
Applicants must be able to work independently, take initiative, and communicate effectively with library staff, patrons, and visitors. Applicants must be comfortable using multimedia software, such as Adobe CC Suite. Applicants should also have strong interpersonal skills to support patrons with projects.

These providers must also, know how to lead in diverse teams and environments. The School of Dental Medicine and Oral Health at High Point University is intentionally designed to lead the country in innovative curricula and clinical experiences. Our students will be prepared through a blend of didactic courses, high-fidelity simulation, and a unique blend of patient care experiences. High Point University will provide personalized tracks to satisfy the career interests of our students. Students will complete coursework and clinical experiences across most specialties but will tailor their experiences to areas of interest in their fourth year through electives and specialty rotations.
