The Director of Development is responsible for securing major gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations to support ECU Health's priority programs. This includes managing a prospect portfolio, developing fundraising plans, and supervising development staff and volunteers.
A bachelor's degree is required, with a master's or CFRE preferred. Candidates must have five or more years of fundraising experience specifically focused on major and planned gifts.
Secures major gifts ($10K or more) from individuals, corporations, and foundations for the approved service lines and medical divisions within ECU Health. Responsible for identifying, soliciting, cultivating, and stewarding donors and prospective donors. Responsible for managing a prospect portfolio in order to raise money for the Foundation's priority programs. Has direct staffing responsibility and management responsibility with volunteers.
