The Senior RAM Engineer leads Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability programs for complex rail transit projects. They are responsible for defining RAM strategies, conducting performance analyses, and integrating these activities with safety and systems engineering programs.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related STEM discipline and possess over 10 years of experience in RAM within transportation or similar industries. A Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Canada is highly desirable, along with strong expertise in RAM frameworks and quantitative analysis.
GFT is seeking a Senior RAM Engineer to join our Practice or CBG Team out of either Ontario, Alberta; or British Colombia.
Working on the transportation team at GFT offers the opportunity to engage in transformative projects that enhance transportation infrastructure and improve community connectivity. What you’ll be challenged to do:
Under limited supervision, the Senior RAM Engineer independently leads Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability programs for rail transit projects. The role provides technical leadership for RAM analyses, performance modeling, maintenance optimization, and lifecycle performance assessment.
The Senior RAM Engineer should possess a working knowledge of safety assurance principles and understand the integration between RAM and Safety activities within a RAMS framework.
In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

The salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $163,000.00. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
