The Health Care Aide provides direct resident care, including assistance with personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding under the supervision of a nurse. They also support residents in participating in facility activities and ensure a safe, comfortable environment.
Candidates must hold a recognized Personal Care Aide or Health Care Aide certificate and maintain active registration with the CLHA. One year of experience in a continuing care environment is preferred, along with fluency in English.

As a Health Care Aide (HCA), you will work as a member of the care team, collaborating on the delivery of resident care. The Health Care Aide, under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse, applies their knowledge and skills in order to provide a wide variety of safe and thorough basic care and services to residents.
