The registrar is responsible for initiating accurate patient registrations, verifying information, and coordinating with insurance companies for admission certification. They also maintain patient records, assist with emergency triage alerts, and support departmental functions during computer downtime.
The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent and proficiency in computer operations, including Epic software and Microsoft Office. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are required to handle patient interactions and confidential information effectively.
