The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing on-road and off-road heavy duty equipment. They ensure vehicle safety and performance while maintaining detailed repair logs in the maintenance database.
Candidates must possess a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics license and a valid AZ/Class 1 driver's license with a clear abstract. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic is required.

Shift: Monday to Friday: 5:30pm to 2:00am (40 hours/week)
Pay Rate: $49.45/hour

The Diesel Mechanic inspects, maintains, diagnoses, and repairs assigned on-/off-road and heavy duty equipment to ensure proper function and vehicle safety and meet quality and performance goals.
Diagnose and repair on- / off-road and heavy duty vehicles and equipment to meet preventative maintenance schedules, ensure proper function, and meet vehicle safety and quality goals
Assist with entering data in the mechanic’s maintenance and repair database (e.g., Web Fleet Assistant (WFA))
Communicates concerns or escalates unusually complex or persistent problems to the Foreman or other manager
Responds to service calls for equipment breakdowns when no supervisor is available to assist in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues arising from the Control Room, Dispatch, or Drivers
Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics license (310T)
Valid Class G driver's license (Class AZ preferred) with a clear driver’s abstract that meets Purolator’s insurance requirements.
3 year of experience as a Diesel Mechanic is required.
Language Requirement: Proficiency in English is required for this position due to the frequent communications that must be conducted in English with various stakeholders. This requirement is justified by the nature of the responsibilities and operational needs.
