The Network Engineer is responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise network systems including routers, switches, and SD-WAN. They also provide 24-hour on-call support, monitor network performance, and manage fault resolution within a power plant environment.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant work experience and a bachelor's degree is preferred. Proficiency in Cisco networking hardware, TCP/IP protocols, and operating systems like Linux and Windows is required, along with a valid driver's license and NERC certification.

Administers and supports the enterprise network systems. Responsibilities include network design, technology evaluations, network architecture, topology development, maintain network, and system specifications. Other responsibilities include network monitoring, performance analysis, customer support, and fault / problem management.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
General knowledge with Cisco router and switch configuration, implementation and maintenance / troubleshooting.
