The Laundry Aide is responsible for laundering residents' personal items and community linens while ensuring adherence to safety and infection control policies. The role also involves actively engaging with residents to support their daily living and reporting any safety concerns to management.
Candidates should have previous laundry experience in a hospitality or healthcare setting and a basic understanding of laundry equipment and chemicals. A clear vulnerable sector screen, current TB test results, and strong communication skills are required for this position.

The Laundry Associate reports to the Environmental Services Manager and is responsible for laundering services of the residents’ personal laundry and the community’s general laundry according to the policies of the community and aligned with but not limited to the Retirement Homes Act. A major part of your role as a Laundry Aide will be to actively involve residents in everyday domestic living.
