Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, with an associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a DSP or in a similar IDD services role is required.

Mozaic (A Chapter of The Arc NY) is seeking a full-time DSP Trainer. The Direct Support Professional Trainer is responsible for assisting Direct Support Professionals in successfully applying the knowledge and skills gained in classroom-based training to their day-to-day work. This role ensures that learning is effectively transferred into practice by providing guidance, coaching, and real-time support in the work setting. As a subject matter expert, mentor, and coach, the DSP Trainer reinforces organizational standards, state regulations, and best practices while promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth for staff supporting individuals supported by Mozaic.
