The Counselor Aide supports residents with mental health and chemical addiction issues through screening, intake, and crisis response. They are also responsible for patient education, case management, and maintaining accurate clinical records.
A High School Diploma or GED is required, and a valid NYS Driver's License is necessary. Experience in customer service or human services is preferred.
Helio Health, one of Central NY’s premier behavioral healthcare providers, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Counselor Aide. The Counselor Aide is responsible to operate as a team member in providing services to residents with mental health issues and chemical addictions. This position is vital in supporting our patients’ success in their treatment and allows for many long-term career opportunities!
This particular opportunity will work on a Full-Time (days) basis at our Binghamton Inpatient/Detox location.
Schedule: 8am-4:30pm plus 1 weekend day.
In addition to Helio Health’s comprehensive benefits package, this position is eligible for a Sign-On incentive up to $1,500!
Pay rate: $17.61 per hour
