The Office of the Legislative Counsel is seeking an Administrative Services Manager to lead our dedicated team of administrative professionals. We are a permanent nonpartisan legislative service agency that provides legal and publication services to members, committees and staff of the Legislative Assembly.
The Administrative Services Manager provides leadership, direction and oversight to the members of the Administrative Services unit; formulates and implements agency policies and procedures; assesses hiring needs and analyzes budget resources to determine adequate available funding; and serves as the agency principal financial officer responsible for overseeing all financial operations and reporting of the agency, including accounting and budgeting. This position provides financial structure, accountability and resources, while helping drive the culture, execution and vision of the agency.

The Office of the Legislative Counsel in Salem, Oregon, invites you to put your proven skills to work as part of our management team. We are looking for someone with:

In this nonpartisan role you will manage the day-to-day operations of the office and provide support, guidance and coaching to the Executive Support Specialists and the Publications Account Specialist.

You possess the flexibility to shift your attention from one task to another and back again. You have the ability to balance attention to detail with awareness of the deadline-driven nature of legislative, accounting and budgeting work. This is a hybrid (remote and in-office) position located in the Capitol building in Salem, Oregon.
While working from home, personal, stable and high-speed Internet access will be required to perform the functions of this position. There will be times when employees scheduled to be working from home will be required to report to the Capitol. Every effort will be made to provide reasonable notice; however, employees may be required to report to the building under short notice. The salary in this job posting reflects the base salary without contributions to the Public Employees Retirement System (PERS). Employees eligible for PERS will have their salary increased by 6.95%, and 6% will automatically be subject to a mandatory employee contribution to PERS.
