The Empowerment Director will plan and facilitate evidence-based workshops focused on substance abuse prevention and healthy decision-making for youth. Additionally, the role involves providing individual guidance, maintaining community partnerships, and making referrals to support the developmental needs of members.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree and have at least two years of experience in a related field. A CASAC or CASAC-T certification is strongly preferred, along with strong communication skills and experience working with diverse youth populations.

Every day, Madison provides thousands of children with a safe and positive environment, one where fun is encouraged and positive role models are plentiful. A founding member of Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Madison currently serves more than 5,000 youth, ages 6 to 18, at five sites throughout Brooklyn, Bronx, and Harlem. This is a full-time position working 35 hours a week Monday through Friday in the afternoon and evening.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, conducting, evaluating, and facilitating departmental programs, activities and events under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director and providing individual guidance and referrals as needed.
