Time Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeTo execute end-to-end procurement processes, including but not limited to vendor sourcing, accreditation, bidding, awarding & contracting; lead or supervise Procurement activities, provide overall requirement assessment and recommendation as aligned to Procurement policy.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing initiatives and invite possible vendors for accreditation (S&P)
• Analyze trends and opportunities to identify savings opportunities
• Lead supplier performance surveys and provide overall assessment
• Lead audit activities applicable to Procurement process
• Drive suppliers compliance to the PO terms (PPP) and conditions
• Ensure bidding process integrity at all times (PPP)
• Support initiatives to drive procurement processes, improve vendor management and reduce risk.
• Drives compliance to Procurement and company policies
• Highest integrity on Procurement transactions by ensuring confidentiality of proposals and related information.
• Maintain good relations with vendors and keep up-to-date with vendor offerings (EA/CF)
• Work cooperatively with various end-users (EA/CF)
• Maintain good working relationship with counterparts in other regions (EA/CF)
• Organize and participate to product presentations by the suppliers to the interested end-users
• Support supplier performance evaluations and document end-user comments regarding supplier supplies and services
• Review submitted purchase requests and check completeness & compliance
• Organize invitation to bid, purchase orders and contracts that captures all the necessary details and in a timely manner
• Prepare and analyze overall canvass summary and recommendation
• Negotiate with vendors regarding the prices and relevant terms
• Ensure completeness of submitted documents by vendors for accreditation
• Provide procurement expertise and assist end-users for procurement-related matters
• Collaboratively work with end-users, suppliers

Required Education

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Required Experience

• 8 years relevant experience

Preferred Competencies/Skills

• High degree of numeracy & attention to details
• Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with end-users and vendors
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize tasks
• Good negotiation skills
• Willingness to travel and stay in Cebu for urgent Procurement matters
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office software
• Trainings in Procurement-related functions a plus but not required
• Ability to benchmark from other Shared Services Industry, BPOs or other industries when applicable
• Effective communication skills (both verbal and written) with superiors, colleagues, suppliers and staff
• Good presentation skills
• High sense of urgency to support corporate requirements

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Sourcing or Vendor Management highly preferred

Preferred Knowledge

• Deeper knowledge of the procurement process
• Deeper understanding of the procurement requirements in the shared services industry
• Deeper knowledge of category management & the ability to source vendors
• Deeper knowledge on Supplier Management
• Basic knowledge on commercial law is a plus.
