Job Description

Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager Azure Data Engineer In this role you will be expected to design develop and maintain data integration and provision for data analytics and reporting teams. Responsibilities: - Transform raw data into consumable datasets for MI/BI teams using business logic and data modeling requirements - Build and optimize Spark jobs workflows and data transformation logic for high volume datasets. - Handle large datasets performance tuning and troubleshooting of Databricks workflows - Build and optimize ETL workflows using Py Spark SQL and Delta Lake. - Develop scalable data ingestion frameworks for batch and streaming data. - Implement Delta Lake features: ACID transactions schema evolution optimization - Maintain dataflow orchestration and develop solutions for real-time and batch data processing using in-house orchestration tools - Implementing data validation and cleansing procedures ensuring the quality integrity and dependability of the data. - Improve the scalability efficiency and cost-effectiveness of workflows - Work with Dev Ops teams to implement CI/CD pipelines (Azure Dev Ops/Git Hub Actions) - Analyze and resolve complex data issues while with stakeholders delivering data solutions aligned with business needs - Design and implement efficient data models (bronze/silver/gold layers) following medallion architecture - Collaborating with wider Data teams to provide data for analytics and reporting
