About this Opportunity: Regency Centers is seeking a Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting Intern to join our Jacksonville, Florida corporate office during the spring semester 2027. This internship will provide exposure to REIT, partnership, and corporate taxation, as well as commercial real estate while reporting directly to the Vice President, Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting. We anticipate about 20 hours per week for a duration of about 12 to 15 weeks starting in January 2027. The position exists to add trained, supervised capacity during the heaviest reporting stretch of the year, when year-end close, the Form 10-K and the first-quarter Form 10-Q overlap. Financial reporting support. Assists with preparation and tie-out of the quarterly and annual SEC filings (Forms 10-Q and 10-K), including footing checks, tying supporting schedules to the financial statements, and processing edits in Active Disclosure.
Corporate accounting and close support. Assists the corporate accounting team with month-end and quarter-end close procedures.
Assists with equity method and non-controlling interest schedules and with preparation of partner reporting packages and joint venture financial statement packages.
Analysis and reporting. Builds and refreshes Excel analyses using Spreadsheet Server including variance and fluctuation analysis used in management and external reporting.
Assists with gathering support for internal control testing.

Must be a student in good standing at an accredited 4-year college or university, currently enrolled as a Junior, or senior preferably, with a declared major in Accounting or Finance.

Personal Characteristics:
