About the Role
We’re looking for a collaborative individual to join our team as Legal Operations Paralegal. In this role, you will support accurate, timely, and scalable delivery of corporate legal and transaction-related services, with primary accountability for syndication support, corporate entity and licensing management, UCC management, and legal operations process improvement. You will maintain high-quality legal records and coordinate deadline-driven work while examining existing processes and implementing practical improvements and automation that strengthen consistency, visibility, efficiency, and risk management. You will also serve as a lead subject-matter resource for assigned legal operations areas, independently owning complex matters and cross-functional process improvements and advising management on matters that can materially affect compliance, service quality, efficiency, and risk.
What You’ll Do
Coordinate syndication transaction documentation and closing support, including preparing, reviewing, organizing, and tracking required documents to support accurate and timely execution.
Maintain syndication records, documentation status, and follow-up items in accordance with established procedures and matter requirements.
Maintain corporate entity governance and compliance records, coordinate annual and other required filings, monitor good standing, and support registrations, business licenses, permits, and bonds.
Examine existing legal and administrative workflows to identify inefficiencies, duplication, control gaps, and opportunities to simplify, standardize, document, or automate work.
Lead the design and implementation of standardized or automated workflows across relevant stakeholders, and advise management on process, control, and service improvements with meaningful impact on compliance, quality, and efficiency.
Coordinate UCC filing management activities and maintain related records, tracking, and documentation to support timely and accurate completion of required actions.
Act as a lead subject-matter resource for complex or non-routine UCC matters, independently determining approach for exceptions and advising Legal or business partners on priority, risk, and recommended next steps.
Support special projects focused on legal technology adoption, operational efficiency, data quality, risk reduction, and scalable legal service delivery.
Partner with Legal, Technology, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to design, test, implement, and improve workflows, templates, dashboards, reporting, and automation solutions.
Lead cross-functional legal operations and technology projects from problem definition through implementation, establishing the approach, milestones, stakeholder coordination, and success measures for complex initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
Five or more years of experience as a paralegal, legal operations professional, or in a comparable corporate legal support role.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex, deadline-driven assignments involving cross-functional business teams.
Demonstrated ability to assess processes, identify improvement opportunities, and document procedures or workflows.
Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities, follow established procedures, exercise discretion and professional judgment, and escalate issues appropriately.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: College/University degree preferred.
Experience with corporate entity management, business licensing, UCC management, legal records, compliance-related work, or financial transaction documentation.
Experience with legal technology platforms such as DocuSign CLM or Insight, Salesforce or Service Cloud, Filevine, SharePoint, or similar systems.
Experience contributing to workflow automation, process improvement, system implementation, user acceptance testing, legal analytics, process mapping, dashboarding, reporting, or low-code automation tools such as Power Automate.
Experience supporting fleet, asset management, mobility, banking, financial services, or another operationally complex business.
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects, processes, or workstreams and providing technical or process guidance to professionals and business partners without relying on formal authority.
