The Distribution Center Loader is responsible for servicing a demanding customer base while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity. This position plays a critical role in warehouse operations by accurately receiving, storing, picking, staging, and loading products while following FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory practices and company procedures. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and experienced in operating material handling equipment in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Pay Rate:$24.78 per hour Schedule:Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
Perform basic equipment inspections and report malfunctions or repair needs.
Receive and accurately locate inventory using RF scanning technology.
Pick, stack, wrap, and stage outbound shipments according to customer requirements.
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
Execute daily tasks in prescribed sequences to meet delivery deadlines.
Meet established productivity, quality, and safety goals.
Participate in cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives.
Assist with stock replenishment as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.
Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or near misses immediately.
Support departmental projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
1–4 years of warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
Previous forklift operation experience required.
Experience using hand tools.
Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Ability to work 8–12 hour shifts as scheduled.
Ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
Ability to wear all required PPE, including safety glasses and hearing protection.
