The Production Associate is responsible for executing recipes, preparing ingredients, and maintaining high standards of quality and sanitation in the kitchen. They also assist with cleaning, equipment maintenance, and supporting team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Candidates should have basic baking or cooking knowledge and a Food Handler's license. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with the ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
SUMMARY
At Magnolia, the Production Associate is responsible for executing recipes in the quantities and priorities set by Magnolia Kitchen management, including baking, icing, prepping, cooking, dishwashing, and cleaning. Production Associates may also assist with other Magnolia Foods business entities as business requires. This position works from Silos Magnolia Kitchen in Waco, Texas. It reports to the Magnolia Kitchen Manager and has no supervisory responsibilities.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and arms to reach, handle, feel; utilize fine motor dexterity of fingers; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is expected to utilize team lifting techniques when lifting bulky items or items weighing above 50 pounds and up to 120 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee operates in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The employee routinely uses sinks, ovens, and tools to clean kitchen appliances. The employee is frequently exposed to hot water, potentially slippery floors, garbage disposals, and cleaning chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
