Reports to: Head Trainer
Employment Status: Part Time
Stretchd is seeking individuals with a background in Kinesiology / Physical Therapy Aid / Personal Training / and Athletic Training who have a passion for helping others achieve their fitness and wellness goals. These individuals will introduce new clients to the Stretchd space and the Stretchd Method, by delivering one on one hands on stretching sessions. Our Stretchrs enjoy learning about anatomy, movement and advanced recovery methods and use their strength and knowledge to provide a premium experience to our clients. Stretchrs are responsible for engaging clients in a positive and friendly manner while giving our customers expert advice on how they can reach their own Stretchd Goals! The Stretchr role is paid hourly with the opportunity to earn commission and tips.
**Training will be held weekdays from August 17th - August 27th**
Key Responsibilities:
Completion of Stretchd 90-hour certification training program
Upon completion of the training program, adhere to the Stretchd techniques as outlined in the Stretchd training manual
Provide exceptional hospitality and be personable to all Stretchd clients
Furnish recommendations to the client based on the client’s goals that include follow up visits and an appropriate membership based on the recommended visits
Review and assist clients, when appropriate, in completing the new client intake forms
Actively maintain the cleanliness and organization of the space so each client receives the best Stretchd experience
Work alongside the Advisrs to ensure a successful and seamless client check-in and experience
Assist Management with day-to-day operations of the space
Must be able to multitask, problem solve and think on your feet
Light administrative duties
Performing other duties as needed
Qualifications:
Previous background in any of the following categories: Licensed massage therapist, personal trainers, yoga instructors, coaches, Kinesiology, dance, sports science or physical therapy
Must be highly organized and have excellent interpersonal skills and a service-oriented outlook
Ability to work independently, as well as on a team
Minimum 1 year Leadership experience preferred
Must have a strong ability to communicate clearly with clients, team members, and senior leadership
Must be able to move and/or lift heavy items, up to 50 lbs.
Work Requirements:
Part-time, 12-25 hours/week, including at least one weekend day (Sundays to start)
Ability to work flexible hours if needed, i.e. early morning/late night/weekends
Some holiday availability required (open year-round)
Must be available to work at either our Flatiron (27 W 20th St) or Upper East Side (1357 Third Ave) locations
Compensation: Hourly plus commission & tips (averages $40-$50 per hour)
